A staircase ladder mostly has stairs on both sides. A steel platform connects the stairs. The whole structure forms a bridge that provides elevation and eases to cross machinery, pipelines and equipment. The structure of the staircase ladder can be divided into 3 parts.

Description

1. Stairs: There are stairs on both sides of the steel platform. Stairs contain several steps depending upon the elevation and measurements of run and rise. Run or tread is the base of the step. It has a minimum length of 10 to 12 inches. Rise, on the other hand, is the height of the step. The minimum height of the step must be around 8 inches. The measurements of Run and Rise also determines the strength of stairs.
2. Platform: Stair platforms are also called landings. Professionals construct the platform from the same metal as Stairs. They mostly use Stainless steel, Mild steel or Aluminium. Steel has excellent strength properties, so the weight of the platform is just a tiny fraction of total loading. It results in the overall stability of the platform.
3. Handrails: The strong handrails at the side of stairs and platform provides safety. It ensures a safe and secure environment at the workplace and is vital in avoiding any unfortunate accident.
